Hi friends   just letting you know that tonight we are playing in Diabolos Kerikeri with Richard Christie Spanish guitarist opening with a one hour set starting 7pm and finishing late!

We had a great time last time so don’t miss it this time! If you are not within striking distance its possible we can stream some of it

The concert in Lyttelton  last Friday was recorded by Ian McAllister the plan is to release it along with two studio albums recorded in Diamond Harbour with Jan Bille the producer of Reha.

More to tell but have to get moving.    Hope to see some of you tonight in Kerikeri.

Hi friends   just letting you know about my show at LAF Lyttelton

A beautiful new  theatre with a massive space crying out for half the universe to turn up.    It’s easy to get to the Christchurch zones so…..be there or be square… it’s a great place to visit    bright cones everywhere    there are a few people coming to my show from  far and wide and most will be from Christchurch

For tickets look up LAF or contact us if you have trouble getting a ticket   tickets are selling fast I am told which goes to show that they must be missing me here   ha ha.

Great progress recording my long delayed (years) album and yes there are new songs and a quite extraordinary sound architecture thanks to the amazing production genius of jan Bille.   He also produced my Reha album

Hey friends    Luke here from www  LukeHurley.co.nz  just want to tell you I havent forgotten you and thank you for subscribing   I have news. Jan Bille the guy who produced Reha  (if you are unfamiliar with this album has offered to produce another album for me. Listen below.

Some opportunities have emerged but this one is the ruby in the dust.     I believe in NZ and in the great technical and production skills we have in our own land.  We don’t need to go to the big continent on overinflated debt driven budgets to record in namo studios when for a fraction  of the price we can do it all at home with heart and soul.  And not have to resort to hard living to satisfy the dubious multi national “spirit” of global enterprise. Who cares? a five year old can go international from a smart phone.

It’s come full circle   International is zzzzzzzzzzzz and national is exciting   why? cause in the end its about the music and not the prestige of “reaching the world” and its way harder to win over your own country than to get overseas kudos.

It’s like you have to wander all over the world to find the pearl of great price when in fact it was right there in plain sight sitting on the mantle piece.

The former manager of a great NZ studio told me that he could have made much better albums for artists who were compelled by their labels to blow their budget overseas    Same budget applied at home would have delivered masterpieces

With that in mind please support this venture as we get no funding from the “normal” channels   why?coz the songs i write are not nor ever purport to be commercial

Hi friends  – hope you all happy and healthy.  Please don’t forget to visit the music section where you will find some of my albums along with great music from all over the “Wir” & you can have a listen before you buy or even instead of… But please if you can help then do throw us a bone as we are embarking on moving pictures and need some assistance.

The idea is to create video content  and for this it would be great to acquire support.   Any keen video makers out there happy to work with us;   please call me asap 02102592919

There is a need for an editor and for basic podcasting equipment like mics,   go pro mixer & so on.   There is so much we can do, songs to play and people (to) rap with including you if you want to contribute.

So pleeeeease help us if you can  theres a paypal button on this site

The best news right now is an invite from a record label to play in Carolina and a possible follow up gig in Denmark.

But in the meantime there’s another visit South.   The last Tiki Tour was fun so how about letting us know some good places to play when next they let me loose on K1w1LAND

What i try to do Ladies and Gentlemen is speak the truth about human nature and my career reflects the result.   It’s been impossible to profit financially but pure gold in terms of friends along the way-  thank you.

Now we see many sites being censored and on You Tube you don’t have to stray too far to be demonetised and even closed down. The internet has become tainted by what  we thought we had escaped and with that thought i close with a quote from a very fine writer
