Hi there, I met you in Auckland and you told me about Rongo Bakcpackers – I was chatting with you about the Hare Krishnas and you asked me if I had time to listen to your song ‘We are Not a Machine’ which I loved. I am now following your advice and waiting to visit the place. I am in Nelson now, just researching this Elon Musk guy.

By the way – can you tell me about doing your website (how to make) and also, I noticed you had stickers on your guitar with your website address on it – where do you get those stickers?

peace and love

quick email in library, sorry if mistakes

Is it all about the words or all about the music? that is the question you must ask yourself. You’ve told me before that it’s 80% lyrics and 20% music but I’ve picked up 100 Beethoven CDs from hospice shop for the bargain price of five bucks and I know now that sometimes it’s 100% music. Eg Sister Moon.
Maybe do an experiment – one week 10% lyrics and 90% singing while you busk
next week – 90% singing 10% music
Fanatically document results, maybe even post them here!
Pat Metheny is documented in the book ‘This is Your Brain on Music’ (by Daniel Levitin) as writing up to 8 pages of notes of reflection after each of his concerts. Maybe you could try similar?

Good rave Luke.
Pedanticus says, “The Tesla car cannot be rolled but you will need a roll to buy one ($72,000), replace the brake pads and tyres often; plus about $15,000 for the batteries after 8 to 10 years.”
