The trailer for The Insatiable Moon – a New Zealand feature film directed by Rosemary Riddell and starring Rawiri Paratene (Whale Rider), Sara Wiseman, Ian Mune and Greg Johnson. General release in NZ from 7 October. Check it out at www.theinsatiablemoon.com

I wrote the opening theme tune and some of the music in the main body of the film. Neville Copeland did the rest of the score.

Looking forward to seeing the finished movie “Insatiable Moon” this Saturday night. Playing the after movie gig at Cargo at the Viaduct.

If you want to hear what the opening theme of the film sounds like check out my song “The Sound” on You Tube as this is the actual opening music of the film in a different version.

Its looking possible that there will be a soundtrack album for the film and this would give more scope for extended versions.

On my NZ journey i met him twice performing this song on queen st cnr wellesly rd, as kind of an extended instrumental version, that would last for hours and hours.

It was a sunny day and i couldn’t help but sing and hum along with the overtones, every time the deep bass hit me it sent me shivers of joy down my spine and simply hypnotized me back then!
